How to shroom your food
There are many ways to shroom your food, but the easiest way is to just start sprinkling P. Dickey's Wild Mushroom Seasonings on everything that you would normally sprinkle salt on. Here are some ideas. Check back soon for more suggestions.
Steaks - Wild mushrooms and steaks are a match made in heaven. Simply sprinkle P. Dickey's Morel Seasoning on raw steaks, rub seasoning into the meat, then let them rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. Grill over high heat until cooked to desired doneness. Sprinkle with additional seasoning, then cover with foil and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Vegetables - Toss your favorite vegetables with a small amount of olive oil, then sprinkle with P. Dickey's Matsutake Seasoning, and toss again. Steam, saute or grill vegetables until crisp tender and serve.
Dips & Dressings - Simply add 1/2 C. mayonnaise with 1/2 C. sour cream in a small bowl, then add 1/2 tsp. P. Dickey's Shroom Seasoning. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving with chips. Oh yeah, P.Dickey's goes great on those chips as well.
Breads - Add some P. Dickey's Shiitake Seasoning to melted butter, brush on soft breadsticks and bake until golden brown. Sprinkle with more seasoning and serve.
Mushrooms: Since it is officially mushroom season, the next time you find a nice batch of morels, chanterelles, oysters, or any other wild mushroom including those nice big portabella's, try this simple recipe idea: Wash your shrooms well, drizzle with EVOO, then sprinkle with the P.Dickey's Seasoning of your choice. Grill over hot coals for 3-7 minutes, turning once or twice. Sprinkle with more seasoning, then serve. The added flavor of the grill and smoke is incredible!
Drinks - For a great twist to a couple classic drinks, rub a piece of lime over the rim of a margarita glass, then dip into a plate of your favorite P. Dickey's seasoning blend. Fill with margaritas and enjoy.
The best bloody mary's are ones made with P. Dickey's wild mushroom seasonings. Simply substitute the normal seasonings with your favorite blend of P. Dickey's. For the best results, coat the rim of the glass before filling.
